More good news! We have completely finished production on episode 2 of our upcoming horror/sci-fi radio drama “Hyper Nocturnal.” This means that everything is done and the episode is ready to ship. Yes!

As I previously talked about we will not be releasing the episode until the rest of the episodes are completely done. So, as it currently stands we have 6 more to go. One little victory at a time.

The next step is to start to work on sound effects, music and mixing of episode 3, which we will begin working on tonight.

Hey all!

Got some great news updates. Work has progressed nicely on our new upcoming horror / sci-fi radio drama called “Hyper Nocturnal.” We have completely finished all of episode 1 and are now over 75% completely done with episode 2.

This means that all sound effects, mixing and music has been put into the episodes and they are ready to ship. WooHoo! The current plan is to finish up the rest of Episode 2 this week and then move on to doing sound effects, mixing and music for Episode 3 next week. 6 and 1/4 more episodes to go before the entire radio play is ready to ship!

Hi All! We have officially begun doing sound effects, mixing and music for our upcoming horror sci-fi radio drama Hyper Nocturnal. Things are sounding great so far! (no biased opinion there at all). At the moment the first episode is 23 minutes and 19 seconds completed. My hope is to be able to finish the rest of it over the next 2 weeks, but we’ll see how things progress. As always, I’ll make sure to keep you guys up to date.

Hey Everyone. Time for another news update! I hope you’re as excited as I am! For the last 2 weeks I’ve been working on…drum roll… SPLICING! Yaaaaay!

Yes, yes, editing continues to chug along on our upcoming Sci-Fi Horror Radio Drama Hyper Nocturnal. As of current we have spliced up to half way through episode 5. So we are officially past the half way point with splicing (yaaaaay).

The current plan is to switch gears and start working on sound effects and mixing for episode 1 this week. We will see if that works out though or if I end up deciding to just keep splicing. Who knows! Anyway, hope you all had a good week. Will talk to you next week!

Hey All! News update for this week. We have completed splicing all of episode 3 for our upcoming horror sci-fi radio play “Hyper Nocturnal.” Next up we are going to shift gears and start working on doing sound effects and mixing for episode 1 through episode 3. The purpose of this is mainly to just have a change of pace in the current progress being done. When mixing and sound effects are done for an episode then the episode will be completely done and ready to ship out. However, we won’t be posting any episodes live until all 8 episode are completed.

This week we continued to work on editing episode 3 of our upcoming horror sci-fi radio drama “Hyper Nocturnal.” As of current we are about 2/5 of the way through with splicing. Will continue to work on splicing throughout this upcoming week. With some luck, I think we may be able to finish up all splicing on the episode by the end of the week, but we will see.

Hey All!

We are back in action after Hurricane Sandy put us out of commission for a week. Power is back, subways are running and we are continuing to work on editing for our upcoming horror radio drama “Hyper Nocturnal.”

In terms of progress for editing, as of current we have completely finished splicing episodes 1 and 2. We also have written and recorded the ads and narration for episode 3. The plan this week is to make some progress on splicing together episode 3.

WOOHOO!

All recording has been completed for Hyper Nocturnal. As they say our next horror radio drama is in the can. So now we move onto editing. Oh boy… glorious glorious editing. Luckily we have already started doing some splicing though, so we are a bit ahead. As of current we have episode 1 completed spliced and are almost done with splicing episode 2 (one more session to go and we will be finished). After splicing comes the real hard part which is the mixing and the editing. However, for now I’ve decided to go through and splice all of the episodes and then go back and do the mixing and editing.

Work continues as always!

Hello everybody!

We are back from this year’s New York Comic Con and oye vay am I pooped! This year’s NYCC was AWESOME. So much cool cosplay and booths to see. The place was PACKED to the roof though. Good thing I’m not claustrophobic, lol. We took a bunch of pictures and you can see them on our twitter feed @SFRadioTheater. I will be uploading them to Facebook soon too.

We sat in some cool panels, one was on sci-fi blogging and the other was about genre writing in general (a friend of mine who has a book out called Three Parts Dead was on the panel)

On the radio play side we have continued to work on the upcoming Horror radio drama “Hyper Nocturnal.” Georgia’s voice has recovered and we were able to record episode 7. This means we have one more episode to record and we will have all recording down for the entire radio play.

On top of recording we did a bunch of editing this week to and are now 55 minutes into splicing episode 2. We should be done with splicing within 2 more sessions I predict.

Hey all!

We will be at New York Comic Con this weekend! If you are going to be going keep an eye out for Charles and Josie. They will be walking around wearing Sci-Fi Radio Theater tshirts and handing out pens. So come say “Hi!”

In other news, we worked a bunch on editing this week. Unfortunately we weren’t able to get any recording done as another cold took over Georgia and completely destroyed her voice for the last week. She is all better now though and we will be recording again hopefully on Tuesday. We still have 2 more episodes to go before we are all done with recording. In terms of editing we are now 45 minutes into splicing episode 2.

We are getting there slowly but surely!
